The 100 Images Project has been completed! We have enjoyed sharing our work with you this past year and have appreciated your feedback and words of encouragement.
Our next effort will be three months in-the-making and will be released some time this autumn. Like 100 Images, our upcoming project will again showcase the serendipitous results of placing our photos side by side without seeing the other's photo. This new project's photo pairings will focus on what Eduardo, a Colombian, experiences in New York City and what Timothy, an American, experiences in Guatemala City throughout a three-month time period.
The 100 Images Project story:
Every week, Timothy Campbell and Eduardo Angel added an original photo to the 100 Images web page where their photos sat side by side in serendipitous juxtaposition. Each added his photo without seeing the other's submission.
Timothy lives in Chicago, Illinois, while Eduardo lives in Brooklyn, New York.
While using the same model camera and shooting in the same time frame, they both added a new photo each week for 50 weeks to create an "image battle"
between Chicago and New York.
Some weeks, Timothy's photo was on the right-hand side. Some weeks, Eduardo's photo held that position. It was up to you to guess which photo was taken in Chicago and which photo was taken in New York.
This project was generously sponsored in part by Canon. Timothy and Eduardo exclusively used Canon PowerShot cameras.
